Any DVD or similar copy protection removal

Hi there - I came to this board as the details of SnD were on the patch of the origianl software - which for some reason now doesn't work on windows 10. I have had it working in the past, perhaps a windows update 'took care' of this. I tried downloading more recent versions of AnyDVD, but were just chock full of trojans.. I know that some are false posative; but after the last one which disabled my dvd-r drive and related drivers; I had to do a re install.. so I am somewhat reluctant to go find another torrent for anydvd given the risks.
Does anyone have a known working patch for 6.4.2.2 or 5.6.3.1 (this one I have the patch for, but once applied the program refuses to run)
Alternatively I'd just be greatful for a piece of software that removes the copy protection - I don't want to use handbrake or dvd decrypter (both rippers also) or similar, I like using Magic ISO or similar - just to have the dvd rip to a complete file.
